DDS Logistics showcases new products to discover and (re)discover during the SITL.
On the occasion of the Transport & Logistics Innovation Week (SITL) on March 26, 27 and 28, 2019 in Hall 1 – Paris Porte de Versailles, the French leading provider of TMS solutions, DDS Logistics, will be presenting all of its new products for the digitization of transport.
As part of its continual quest for optimizations, and in order to facilitate the daily work of its customers, every year the solutions publisher deploys new modules and offers tailored to the needs of all players in the supply chain. Among them, “streamlined” versions and new modules which enhance its flagship solutions.
Shipper Light, optimize your transport billing.
Launched on the market last June, the Shipper Light solution offers all the advantages of a TMS to help you control your transport budget, in a streamlined version. As a collaborative web portal, the packaged offer from the DDS Shipper TMS enables shippers to digitize the process of calculating and controlling transport costs, by directly involving the carriers. From pricing management to the validation of pre-invoices, Shipper Light guarantees a fully comprehensive and reliable control, fewer disputes and an estimated 2% to 5% reduction in the transport purchase budget.
Import Light, increase your visibility on international flows.
A fully fledged accelerated deployment kit for the DDS Import solution, Import Light offers shippers of all sizes a dedicated access to all traceability and collaboration functions with forwarding agents. Thanks to this solution, shippers are able to offer their customers greater visibility while reducing their safety stock throughout the supply chain, all with a low implementation cost. Available in Saas mode, Import Light is available for a monthly rate of €2,950.
Already collaborative, Join2ship goes native.
The Join2ship collaborative platform – designed to digitize receptions and deliveries – which allows shippers, carriers and customers to plan, manage and track their shipments and receptions in real time, has been upgraded. In 2019, the solution originating from the DDS Logistics incubator, is now available in direct access or native integration in the publisher’s shipper and forwarding agent TMS. This means it offers real-time traceability, facilitating the smooth operation of the entire ecosystem of associated carriers.
Export module, new added value of DDS Shipper.
The export module integrated into its DDS Shipper TMS tool will also be presented. Dedicated to large export flows in sea and air transport, it allows shippers to manage their bookings, automatic communications and transport instructions, primarily through the INTTRA electronic transaction platform. The module also provides international trade operators with automatic exchange thanks to a customs tool, and is equipped with a document management system to group together all information and documents in one place.
Control your transport chain.
Finally, the latest new feature unveiled at the trade show will be a module designed as a fully fledged transport control tower. Its aim? Give a 4PL shipper or service provider a means of obtaining an overview of flows being managed while easily accessing the wealth of information available in the TMS. The result is a TMS offering a consolidated and dynamic view which is updated as operations progress.
